Carl Strobel, CEO & Founder of FiberPlus, was recently nominated by the facilitator for the Information Management Signature program at Chesapeake High School for a Business Partnership Award. Having served as a member of the Business Advisory Board and now as a member of the signature program’s Integrated Community Stakeholders Team, he has been a community partner for over a decade. Serving as a guest speaker, mock interviewer, and working at open house events, Carl donates over eight hours a month to Chesapeake High School students. Carl has been willing to take student interns and give them real-world opportunities and a few of those internships have turned into permanent positions. The facilitator said that having a partner in the field of technology such as Carl has afforded the students of Chesapeake High School numerous opportunities to learn both inside and outside the classroom.
