Almost form our beginning; FIBERPLUS Inc. has had an association with the relocation industry. FIBERPLUS Inc. has relationships with most of the top system integrators in our marketplace and has teamed with many of them on multi-million dollar projects. There has been a tremendous amount of growth in our territory bringing with it an explosion of new and renovated hotels and motels, with each vying for the corporate travelers’ budget. Having to provide cost effective service to their clientele, the hospitality market now has both voice and data available to all their customers. FIBERPLUS Inc. works with the client to not only install but maintain their networks.

Working in this environment is very challenging. It requires special skills and certain abilities that are not common to the corporate world. We have installed cabling for voice and data as well as security and video systems. We are embarking on a new endeavor with several of these facilities with a new technology called R.F.I.D. this allows for tracking of inmates to include areas that are inaccessible to video. It also gives real time accounting for inmate location which can be used for forensic purposes.

With the after-effects of September 11, 2000, many of the buildings we work in have requirements not only for voice and data but also for access controls. Many of these buildings now employ’s a security force that protects the physical building with product and infrastructure FIBERPLUS Inc. has delivered and installed. Additionally, there is the human security that we also help protect with our network services and our team of network professionals having the knowledge and ability to implement a data security perimeter protecting the human component.

We were an early player in the burgeoning RFID field and have solutions tailored to your needs, whether asset location, inventory management, security or others. We install systems specifically developed for locating and tracking expensive mobile hospital equipment. We also install systems for prisons which identify and track inmates and will alarm on pre-determined conditions. Both types of systems were designed by professional people with years of experience in those fields.

In 1996, FIBERPLUS Inc. was instrumental in the statewide NET WEEKEND initiative that provided the initial data networks to more than 500 public schools. We hold our own GSA schedule (GS-35F-0941N), have numerous BPA’s and teaming agreements with several different agencies as well as direct contracts with several agencies. Within the Federal Government, FIBERPLUS Inc. has the ability to deliver multiple references from within the Intelligence Community giving our potential customer the peace of mind knowing that we have an excellent level of understanding of the requirements and the experience with the installation of telecommunications cabling and systems within controlled/secured facilities. We can also provide technicians with clearances to work on their projects and that these projects will be done correctly according to the highest standards set by the Intelligence community. From it’s inception in 1992, FIBERPLUS Inc. has worked with the State of Maryland for it’s cabling requirements. In 1995, the State issued a contract to be competed for all wiring and cabling which FIBERPLUS Inc. won. We have supplied the State of Maryland for over 11 years with their cabling needs. We also have a contract with the State of Virginia that covers over 20 counties. Both of these contracts have lead to many additional opportunities in local governments also allowing them to utilize the contract and the leverage it brings to economically bring current technology to areas that without this vehicle would not be able to afford the infrastructure.

Working within the federal arena at times brings with it the necessity to travel overseas to deliver the quality of installation we deliver to the facilities within our borders. FIBERPLUS Inc. has had the privilege to assist our customers in many foreign countries.

FIBERPLUS Inc. provides network administration services to companies that depend on a reliable internal Local Area Network for their business operations but can’t justify a full-time administrator on staff. Our experience includes configuration of workstations, servers, switches, routers and firewalls, and skills in troubleshooting problems. We offer software protection against Spam, viruses and spyware. We can also recommend and install equipment for expansion or upgrade of a network.

FIBERPLUS has many years of experience in designing and installing wireless networks. We have established wireless networks for universities with campus-wide access points and bridges at strategically located buildings. We provided business travelers with wireless in-room access at hotels and motels. We put in wireless networks at prisons with security measures including access control and 128-bit encryption.
